iAB Financial Bank, Fort Wayne
Thomas Obergfell, senior vice president, has been named to lead the business banking division. He has 29 years of experience in business banking, lending and business development. Previously Obergfell worked for Tower Bank as a senior lender and for Bank One in a variety of roles, including commercial lending. He serves on the board of trustees of the University of Saint Francis, on the board of directors of Easter Seals ARC of Northeast Indiana, on the board of St. Peter's Zion project for neighborhood revitalization, as a City Council appointee to the Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission and as a youth soccer coach. Obergfell is a graduate of the University of Saint Francis.

Rick Gentis, senior vice president, has been named to lead the agribusiness banking division. He has more than 20 years of agribusiness lending experience and is a farm owner. Gentis is a member of the Bluffion Rotary Club and church volunteer. He is a graduate of Purdue University and of the Barrett School of Banking.

Andrew Marshall, first vice president, has been named to lead the retail and small business banking division. He has nearly 12 years of banking experience and was recognized as a 40 Under 40 leader by the Fort Wayne Business Weekly in 2011. Marshall serves on the board of directors of the Huntington Boys & Girls Club, the Markle Fish and Game Club Park and the United REMC Operation Round Up Foundation. He is a graduate of International Business College and of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.

Douglas Fyock, vice president, has been named to lead the mortgage banking division. He has 37 years of experience in the mortgage lending and banking industries. Fyock serves on the board of directors of Northeast Indiana Mortgage Bankers and is a member of the Fort Wayne Homebuilders Association and of the Fort Wayne Area Association of Realtors. He is a graduate of the Indiana School of Business.

Ameriana Bank, New Castle
Greg Gordon has joined the bank as vice president, commercial loan officer. He has more than 25 years of banking experience, most recently with Fifth Third Bank. He has also held positions with First Merchants Bank of Central Indiana, Huntington Bank, First National Bank & Trust and National City Bank. Gordon is a member of the Knights of Columbus Fishers Council and a graduate of DePauw University.

Terri Bauer has been named assistant vice president, Greenfield banking center manager. She has more than 30 years of banking experience, most recently as a branch manager with U.S. Bank, NA, Richmond. Bauer also worked at SunTrust Bank for 18 years and held positions with BB&T/Republic Bank and Union Federal Savings Bank.

First Federal Savings Bank, Evansville
Jessica Aldridge has been promoted to assistant vice president, branch relationship banker/manager, Petersburg office. She previously was operations manager at the Petersburg office. Aldridge has seven years of banking experience and is a graduate of Vincennes University.

Christopher Head has been promoted to assistant vice president, commercial relationship banker. He previously served as a commercial banking management trainee. Head has three years of banking experience and is a graduate of Indiana University.

Shawn Rapphan has been promoted to vice president, information technology. He was previously assistant vice president, IT. Rapphan has eight years of banking experience and is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute.

April Weyer has been promoted to vice president, mortgage loans, after prior service as assistant vice president, mortgage loans. She has 13 years of banking experience and is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana.

Jackson County Bank, Seymour
Sharla Todd has joined the bank as commercial banker, Treasury management. She has more than 15 years of financial experience, having served in branch sales management, member services and mortgage origination. She attends St. Mary's Church. Todd earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Patrick LeClaire has joined the bank as controller. He has nine years of community banking experience, having served as controller, information technology officer, security officer and audit liaison. LeClaire is a graduate of Illinois College.

Leslie Unrue has been promoted to assistant vice president, deposit and electronic banking operations. She joined the bank in 2012. Unrue serves the community through the Schneck Medical Foundation, Real World Career Day and March of Dimes. She is a member of Greensburg Community Church and a graduate of Vincennes University.

Salin Bank&Trust Company, Indianapolis
Gail E. Bradley III has joined the bank as senior vice president of Treasury management for the business banking team. He has 28 years of banking experience, including 15 years as vice president, senior sales manager-global Treasury management with Bank of Montreal- BMO Harris Bank NA in Canada. Bradley is active with Gleaners Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Avon Junior Athletic Association and his church. He is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals in Indiana.

Frank Whelan has joined the bank as vice president and business development team leader. He has two decades of experience in the financial services and investment field, most recently serving as vice president of Bank of Montreal- BMO Harris Bank NA. Whelan is president of the board of directors of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir and a past member of the Carmel Arts Council board. He earned a bachelor's degree from Hobart College.

Terri L. Gill has joined the bank as vice president, commercial banker. Her banking career began in 1982 as a management trainee at Merchants Bank and since has held numerous executive positions in the banking industry, most recently as senior commercial real estate relationship manager for Fifth Third Bank. Gill is a certified commercial investment member, is active with the Indianapolis chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women, and earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University.

STAR Financial Bank, Fort Wayne
Kim Carpenter has joined the bank as assistant vice president, private banking. She serves on the board of the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana and works with Big Brothers Big Sisters and with Habitat for Humanity. Carpenter earned a bachelor's degree from Defiance College.

First State Bank of Middlebury
Phillip M. Gray has joined the bank as vice president/ commercial loan officer/business relationship manager, located at the Edison Lakes office. He has 30 years of experience in financial services. Gray has served as community campaign chairman of the United Way of St. Joseph County and as vice president of development for United Way. He is a graduate of Indiana University.

First Federal Savings Bank, Huntington
Elizabeth Taylor has joined the bank as branch manager, Warsaw location. She has four years of banking experience and has worked in several different facets of the banking industry.

Owen County State Bank, Spencer
Danielle Conner has been promoted to assistant vice president of loan operations. She has 14 years of banking experience, primarily in residential mortgage lending and as a mortgage services supervisor. Conner earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Jerry Hays has joined the bank as senior vice president in lending. He has more than 30 years of experience in banking and lending in Monroe and surrounding counties, most recently through his own business, Creative Capital Solutions LLC, Bloomington. Hays completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.

Kim Carlson has been named audit and compliance specialist. She has 17 years of experience in banking, focused primarily on lending and compliance, and most recently as a loan operations manager. Carlson earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Rhonda Hinds has joined the bank as a senior commercial lender. She has more than 35 years of banking experience, primarily in commercial lending, most recently with Monroe Bank and Old National Bank. Hinds attended Ivy Tech Community College.

Richard Morris has joined the bank as assistant vice president, eBusiness manager. He has more than 30 years of experience in banking in Monroe County as a computer operations supervisor, systems analyst, deposit operations officer and branch manager. Morris attended Indiana University and the University of Indianapolis.

Katie Smardo has joined the bank as vice president and commercial banking officer, serving the central Indiana middle market. She has 12 years of banking experience. Smardo is a board member of the Carmel Rotary Club, serves on the committee for the Carmel Chamber of Commerce Arrows Young Professionals Group and is past president of the Center for the Performing Arts Leadership Council. She earned a bachelor's degree from Purdue University.

State Bank of Lizton
Jon Stevens has joined the bank as vice president in the commercial banking area, with a focus on agricultural lending. He has more than 30 years of banking experience, serving in lending and credit officer. Stevens is active with the Lebanon Rotary Club and New Hope Christian Church.

Gretchen Patterson has joined the bank as vice president, mortgage lending manager, at the Zionsville location.

Ridenour authored a book, Financial Folly, on the topic of credit scores. He is active with his church and charitable groups. Ridenour attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

Kelly Schwartz has been promoted to vice president, Bank Secrecy Act/compliance officer. She has 14 years of banking experience and previously served as assistant vice president, BSA/ compliance officer. Schwarte earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Indiana.

First Financial Bank, Cincinnati
Matt Murphy has joined the bank as Bloomington banking center manager. He has seven years of banking experience and serves the community as an ambassador for the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce and as a volunteer coach for youth sports. Murphy attended Indiana University.
